Over the past several decades operations research has been applied to everything from defence to finance to networks to education and to the environment etc. This session is dedicated to the application of operations research techniques to some of the more emerging application areas including (but not limited to) futures research, bio-technology, nano-scale applications, implications of autonomy, space based operations, medical practices, engineering and decision-support analysis.
