Offices and businesses are generally open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Shop hours vary, however most city and suburban stores are now open until 5.30pm on weekdays, 9.00pm on Fridays and 4.00pm on Saturdays. Many major city department stores and shopping centres open on Sunday.
